Take a Seat

This campaign aimed to raise funds for the new theatre at Emily Carr University never came to fruition but I want to share it because it’s so fun. Legend has it that artist and namesake for the university, Emily Carr, used to hang her chairs in her studio. If a visitor came by, Emily would lower a chair for you but only if she wanted you to stay and visit.

I art directed the Take a Seat campaign video, wrote the lyrics and worked closely with the very talented animator, Kunal Sen, to produce this piece.
